Pulv LFO

HealthyTrade · started 2019-09-17 19:38 · updated 2019-11-04 09:22

The Pulv's random LFO option should run based on a changeable seed, rather than being different every time its played.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but how do you choose the seed for the random LFO option? Now the randomness is repeatable but you're stuck with just that repetition. For comparison, the Rasselbock has a Seed parameter for its Shuffle effect.

Removing "fixed" state

@andremichelle Thanks for the clarification. That's a pity. I get the point about predictability but this means that every random sequence in every track and every Pulv is going to always be the same. Seeds allow to try different sequences and choose the one that sounds best in a particular situation, like one can do in the Rasselbock. Perhaps we could have a new entry in the Pulv's context menu: "LFO Random Seed..." which would open a simple dialogue box to change the seed with a slider and/or text input.

The issue with that idea is that it would be unintuitive to work because it would be unlike the rest of the parameters in AT.
