Notes disappeared when reopening note track

Hi, when I open a collapsed region by double clicking, the notetrack is greyed out and I can't see the notes I put in previously. I can add new notes but the note track is still not highlighted in the region colour.

I can't reproduce this at all. Maybe your piano roll is scrolled up or down so as to hide your existing notes? Can you post a screenshot of your problem?

Hi, here's a screenshot. As you can see, the notetrack is expanded but greyed out, and no notes are visible. I've scrolled up and down the whole range and the notes are not visible at all.

Also, what happens if you copy this note region into a new one (Ctrl-drag)? Can you open the copy normally?

Ok, I think I understand. Thanks.

This might be a bug. I was playing with this idea, and when you initially move the loop markers, it is impossible to move both of them outside of the region. One of them at least always must stay inside. But when the region is closed and then reopened, the loop range has been moved outside of the region.

Yes, I think I did:

  1. Expand a note region with loop range and notes normally centred under it.
  2. Move the loop markers before the region, outside of its boundaries. The right left marker can't be moved beyond the leftmost boundary of the region.
  3. Close the region and open it again. Notes and loop segment have moved before the region and there's nothing to be seen under it. If the region is close enough to the start of the track, its contents lie before it and are invisible.
