As it says really, opening a new tab in chrome while a project is open in that broswer freezes and becomes totally unresponsive, and then after a minute or two it loses connection with the booster and then i assume crashing completely with the screen being stuck as is. Quitting off the browser and re-opening the project fixes this no problem, just thought i'd bring this to your attention :)

I'm not having this issue myself, you should include which version of chrome you are on, and what your operating system is!
Ah yeah my bad, silly me, cheers dude :)
Chrome Version 66.0.3359.139 (Official Build) (64-bit), recently updated to the latest java and Win10 :)
ill try that now
which number am i looking for exactly sorry, where is it on the page? :)
I got you, was 700 when i left the tab, got back in and it was only 715-725, then it started counting up really fast again, hope this helps
Fantastic ill try it out now, cheers for the quick response! :)
I cant get into Next, crashes once it starts loading up the track?
Haha no worries, cheers! :)
Still freezes when opening a new tab, the project crashed just a few seconds ago
Everything else open in this browser works fine, its only the one tab thats crashing
Neither, the screen gets frozen at the last thing you were doing before it crashed and stays like that till you close off the browser
Also I'm writing this in a new instance of chrome while the project is open (and working no problem) in another instance, seems like a workaround, and yeah sure gimme a sec :)

awesome sounds good! cheers! :)
676 when I switched tabs and when I switched back it was around 2,000 :)
Want to say the words that Nate Diaz said after the first fight with Conor McGregor.
Hey, I'm not surprised motherfuckers!
Ollie's setup usually is so damn huge Like hundred thousand tools and effects. There is no broswer that can handle this insanity.
Kepp up the clean music and crazy setups.
But other than that I had this problem too.
I stopped using canary as it just crashes every time I try to open next.
So needed to go back to ordinary chrome.
I had the same thing going with crashing projects when switching/opening tabs.
It went away once I installed Booster. Now no problem at all.
They need to make a browser that can handle Ollie. xD
no worries, hope you figure it out! :)
Actually quick question about this, do larger tracks, when being worked on, such as the one i linked to yesterday take up more bandwidth on the AT servers? just curious :)
ah okay haha, thanks for the answer! :)
Hey, actually I have the same problems now too!
Strange, it didn't happen before! Now once I switch tabs or just navigate away from the project, it freezes and it's done. No way to get back without just closing the browser and reopening.
Only thing I get is chrome itself pops up a window similar to this one:

I really did not have such problems until today when Ollie actually reported it.
Just to let u know.
i get this too!
Problem still peesists. It wasnt like that before. I remember instaling booster and I could navigate tabs minimize/maximize and it would run very well. Now once you click away from the project tab it crashes right away. It is not that important just dont navigate away from project, but just to let u know.
I've had this problem constantly lately, I'm suspecting after my latest Chrome update. I found that detaching every tab other than the one with the Next app into a separate window (one window just with the Next app and another window with all the other tabs) helps with this problem. Switching windows doesn't seem to trigger the freeze the way switching tabs does.
sorry I should have posted this workaround when I came across it a few weeks ago > "ollie 4 WEEKS AGO
Also I'm writing this in a new instance of chrome while the project is open (and working no problem) in another instance, seems like a workaround"
This happens to me all the time
Seems that this bug is back. Yesterday and today experiencing this on my machine.
Thanks, this actually helps. Just tried!
Had this problem too recently on my windoof work computer.
On my personal linux machine no issues though
Ah yeh, I was just about to make a report on this, I have the same problem too. Except it also happens whenever I leave the tab or go afk for a while.
If this can help to understand the behavior, when I open project and play it, then switch tab and everything freezes, the whole chrome, not completely but it lags hard. Then when I get back to project tab and close it, after some 10 seconds or so it closes, but the thing is, the chrome is still lagging like hell even after the project is closed and there is no AT open at all.
Has this been fixed in the meantime?
Thanks
