But yes, it seems to be either a studio issue or a PC issue
I'll test this on mobile to see if it has the same effects or not
Edit: Seemed to work on mobile, got the track to play in studio. I would say to the people who run this site to just check on the scripting for the studio on PC.
in addition to the play button not working, the current play back position and playback position indicators wont align. The white line in the time line wont move to where the blue arrow is.
I have students using Mac, google and windows systems that are all having this problem. updating Chrome didn't help. The driver on the bottom is the WorkerWithWorkletDriver 44100Hz. The problem is not universal however as mine is functioning alright so far.
Can reproduce. Changing the Driver in preferences to any other option (even returning to the original setting after changing it once) solves the problem for me. Chrome 85.0.4183.121, official build, 64 bits, Ubuntu Linux.
Inside the Studio, open Window > Preferences or press Shift+P. Make sure that Audio Driver is highlighted on the left side of the dialogue. Change the Driver setting.
@elliotgroff Did you try to change the audio driver preference as described below? Otherwise playback won't work. The playback problem still seems to be there.

it's on PC for me, Opera GX, the website and studio is working and allowing me to make edits, but won't play the track when in studio

I solved it for myself by logging out of Audiotool and logging back in, so they could test that to see if it works.
