My Presets Were Never Hidden

I²eye · started 2020-01-17 16:31 · updated 2020-03-06 22:31

I created my own presets and checked the box that said hide from community and checked on another one of my profiles to make sure it was hidden and it turns out all of them were never hidden.

I have already addressed this back in the day, the issue didn't gab any attention to be fixed I guess. So presets I want to be hidden I save in separate projects as templates and whenever I need them I copy-paste them in my project. No other way around it.

why would you want to keep a preset secret?? So that if you create the best preset that mankind has ever heard and make trillions of dollars nobody can steal it from you?

nah, just would like the option of having my own private presets, you see im not going crazy over the fact that they weren't hidden, just confused on why they have it as an option when it doesn't work. I get your point though

@sodosopa
Why would you want to keep a track closed for remixes?
The same applies here, there are presets that I don't want someone to abuse.

ok i understand, i personally would like to disable this function completely, everything should be open for everyone but there are different opinions, that your tracks are locked has annoyed me more than once ;)

@sodosopa Kindergarten is when you spend time making your music, publishing it, and then someone opens a remix, publishes it with no changes ( now with his key in it ) and then goes to Amazon and sells it as his work. Kindergarten is when you spend time on crafting your preset, and then someone turns a knob on it and saves it over yours, later on presenting that it's his preset.

Sounds like a bug or at least a misleading UI to me

Did you check your assets on the website or the list in the studio?
