When deleting the last device (an effects pedal, for example) in a chain that returns to the same device (as in an send/return chain on a mixer) a connection will be left that connects the output to the input of the same device, creating a feedback loop. I'd expect the input/output connectors to be left open, like in Flash.
Steps to reproduce this bug:
-
Get any mixer with send/return connectors (Centroid or Minimixer)
-
Create a chain of one or more devices connected to the send and return connectors of the mixer.
-
Delete the devices forming the chain.
-
When the last device of the chain is deleted, a loop connection is left that connects the mixer's send straight into its return.

I wonder how this eventuality was dealt with in Flash, because it seems to have the correct behaviour.
Thanks for the explanation! :)
