Labeling bands in the Curve

Vulkron · started 2019-11-21 18:15 · updated 2020-09-22 17:40

I constantly use automations on the curve eq. But if I automate the gain for two different bands, I see two automations in the timeline labeled "gain" and I can't tell them apart.

I'm suggesting adding letters to name different bands.

For example, I could have two bands labeled A and B. If I wanted to automate the frequency for these bands, they'd show up as "A Frequency" and "B Frequency" in the timeline.

That's a pretty good idea!

This might even be a bug - not sure.

A similar problem occurs when automating envelope parameters (attack, decay, etc) on the Heisenberg. If two or more equivalent parameters (for example, Decay) are automated for different envelopes (for example, Env1 and Pitch), the parameters names in the timeline are identical and it's difficult to tell which is which. This parameter naming problem in the timeline would have to be checked for each device that has the same parameters for different controls (for example multiple envelopes).
