There is this user names Anjel and I can't unfollow him because he muted me. Is there another way to unfollow him?

I don't get any notifications from Anjel. I'm just following him and it's so annoying. I talked to him through another account, and he said that he didn't have a single user muted.

Yes, as said, it is a bug and they are indeed always annoying. There is no fix for this just yet, but this issue is now under consideration internally, hence the OPEN tag. Thanks for reporting!
