THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED, BUT THE INFORMATION MAY STILL PERTAIN TO SOMEONE ELSE'S MUSIC
This track that I just uploaded has had something go very wrong when it was uploaded
https://www.audiotool.com/track/zs3exspxq1f3/I'm not sure what happened, but it either went wrong during the rendering, or the encoding process, because it never made sounds like this in the project itself.
What I do know is that the behavior seems to be a little random, since I republished it 3 times, and the third republish had different glitches from the first 2.
I also know that it is most likely NOT a byproduct of a certain frequency mix not reacting well, since a later part of the track has a similar mix of sounds, and it sounds fine.

I fixed the issue, but I still feel compelled to ask, why does it do that? Surely I'm not the only one who has had these problems, right?
if you run without the booster, it may sound different when it is uploaded. the booster mimics the encoder that makes the mp3, so you are basically hearing the real deal when you use the booster.
I couldn't tell you how it happened, because I never changed anything in the project between publishes.
All right. I can't guarantee it will be soon, though.
If anyone who's reading this has had any of the same issues that I did, but maybe couldn't fix them, it would help as well if you sent that to them.
This sounds similar to a problem I once saw on this track: https://www.audiotool.com/track/8w99nehz2rzo/ On the first publish, there was loud digital noise and glitching audible in portions of it. Then those artefacts were gone on a subsequent re-publish. Maybe the developers can recall which fixes were made at that time regarding publishing?
I can also say I have a track that does the same thing. My track https://www.audiotool.com/track/w3ydev59x81u/ it sounds completely normal in the draft, but now there's static in the beginning part at 0:06, 0:14, the whole synth solo at 1:50, and the ending at 2:55 ish. I tried many times re-mastering it, lowering the bass, and such, but it didn't change how it uploaded. Sounds completely fine in the draft, but uploaded, it has some staticy sounds.
There seem to be different causes.
Mine (the track mentioned by @jordynth ) was a temporary unavailability of the publishing process (overload AFAIR). According to the error message it failed multiple times but published that broken track nonetheless.
After the publishing issue was fixed I simply re-published and everything was fine.
I fixed my problems before anyone could listen, but what I had on the first 2 attempts at publishing was exactly like XculE's track. The third attempt just destroyed everything, and barely resembled the draft at all (for the first drop). I'm not sure how it should be approached when it comes to preventing these issues, but I would say they should be high priority, considering it could happen to any draft.
Ah I see. I actually now, just saw and read a thing about, how to fix glitchyness things, and i'm gonna try all the things that are listed there, and see if it helps. I also have another problem. I worked in a song for a good 3 weeks now, finished it last night, but decided to publish it the next day, went to sleep, woke up and went to load the draft, but it kept going to the options of "Select a draft to work on" "Open a new one" or "Search for a draft". And when I go to search the draft, it's there, but when it loads, it gives me an Error.
Can you link it? It could help other people too.
Like, create a Help thing about my problem? or?
The thing you read about fixing glitches. Was it a board topic, or something else?
The hints about glitchy playback are only meant for real-time playback the App not for tracks that have been published. Please make sure to not mix that up.
Completely unrelated to this problem but still requested ;) https://www.audiotool.com/board/newbie/next_first_aid
Oooh, sorry. Yeah, i know about that. That only tends to happen to me, when my laptop over heats, or i was on it for to long, but I found that, if i have a tab open to my account, and click drafts, and go back to the song, it gets rid of the glitchyness when you play. It plays it like it actually wasnt there
But, I do have a new problem, that i'm gonna create a thing about. I don't want to loose this song that I spent weeks of time into

There's an audible (and visible) glitch at the start that doesn't occur when opening the track and playing it in the App.
Seems like something has to repaired ...
here's my track, it's got the same glitch at the start

This problem occured again in my newest song, as well as a little while ago when remastering an older one. Both issues were fixed by republishing until they were gone.
It may have something to do with the quantum compressor (or the newer compressors in general). I've noticed that it only happens when setting a 0ms attack on any parameter even when reverting it and publishing it after. These may not be related at all, but it's the only lead I have.
this happens occasionally to me too. usually, a republish will usually help.
I can't even start listening to my drafts without it sounding like it's choking. The samples sound find, but when I put them in my devices, they don't work.
