that was the first thing i tried, definitely better with the booster, and those settings on chrome, but still a decent bit of lag. have only ever had this problem super recently, within the past couple days
i have tried everything and nothing has worked. I have reached out personally to the main admin guy, nothing. I'm so annoyed, because this application used to work for me super smooth. I literally don't know what the problem is now
Am i not using audiotool admin approved vernacular to describe my problem? I've tried to be descriptive, and ive also done nothing but take the advice given by the comments here, and nothing has really worked
does mac have a task manager? a thing that lets you see your CPU and HDD/SSD usage? RAM usage? maybe something is bottlenecking in the background when you are running audiotool, it might not be audiotool itself. maybe you recently installed something that is resource-intensive. Audiotool does not run slower with slower internet. The app runs on your browser, not on their servers.
One question only: Have you read and understood https://www.audiotool.com/board/bug_reports/how_to_report_bugs-mFcvixG ? Many folks on AT don't take the time to properly describe the bugs they come across. Ik everyone encounters bugs, but the majority takes no time to describe it. Makes solving the bug difficult imo.
I just looked up my CPU, and RAM usage, quit literally every application that was running, restarted the ones I need to run audiotool, and the same problem. Was there an update that I wasn't made aware of? Literally have never had a problem with this program up until maybe two weeks ago. Literally the smoothest playback.

extreme lag is normal on huge project drafts
how about on a newly opened project on a computer with lots of storage, and fully updated google chrome, running on 5G wifi?
what kind of computer is it
macbook pro
never had this problem until super recently
Have you tried these tips? https://www.audiotool.com/board/newbie/next_first_aid
now that i think about it, this might be the same reason as https://www.audiotool.com/board/bug_reports/stuck_on_worker

now its just flat out not playing. like the tempo thing wont move forward at all. weird stuff like this only happens after updates or something.

Maybe learn how to report a bug properly...

idk man extreme lag, and playback glitches is fairly self explanatory, no?

Yes, that looks quite similar.
While the report itself is quite thin - the remaining comments contain a fair amount of info to work with.
As @th1rt33n pointed out, it's likely a duplicate of https://www.audiotool.com/board/bug_reports/stuck_on_worker
