In the timeline, it seems that the device list on the left and the main sequencer view on the right have each their own pointer focus. For example, after selecting all the regions in a track by choosing "Select All Regions" from the track name context menu, the Delete key in the keyboard won't delete them and the arrow keys won't move them. One can manipulate the selected regions only by clicking (left for moving or right for context menu) in the timeline area. But since left-clicking will reset the selection, the "Select All regions" menu item becomes pointless for those cases (moving, deleting) because one should re-select the regions manually in the sequencer view.
I know that the Studio suffers from difficult to solve pointer focus issues (https://www.audiotool.com/board/bug_reports/issues_with_pointer). It would be great to find a way to be able to manipulate the selected regions with the keyboard (move, delete) after being active in the device list. Right now, the "Select All Regions" menu item is only useful for manipulations with the region context menu (since right-clicking doesn't reset the selection).

@andremichelle can you have a look? I don't understand the problem - likely because I don't know how some of the functions should behave.
I set this to "won't fix" because we won't tackle this issue explicitly. Whenever we change the underlying framework this should be passively fixed.
