i have this kick that was very heavily compressed using other tools. the bass, mids, and highs are around 0dB, and the sum of it is 0db (or a teeny bit clipping says probe but i dont buy it). i ran it through a bass mono, which is a bandsplitter, stereo enhancer, and a merger, and it summed up to +6dB. so when i switch the merger to full mode instead of half, it sums to 0dB but it's much quieter. please fix it so that sounds maintain the same level of compression when run through bandsplitters > mergers. i would've made this a feature request, but i don't have the specifics of what it is i need. thanks for your time

Please note that the "full" mode in the Merger device decreases the signal volume over the -full- range of the slider. You probably want "half" mode, which means that the signal retains its full volume until -halfway- the slider, where it starts decaying.
yeah i know. neither mode worked for me. it was loud and at 0db for me until i ran it through the bandsplitter and merger. then it was just as loud but clipping as all hell. so i switched on full mode. it was 0db but much quieter.
i think the kick was just really compressed into like a bubble, and taking the sum of those individual frequency ranges popped the bubble. i don't know anything that could fix this other than a multiband stereo imager or more compression
i wonder how quantum reads it
