Automation area default is always the initial value.

Back in the flash version, when you created a new automation area, the value of the first default dot would be equal to the value at that point in time without this new area. For example, if at bar 1 to 2 I automated a knob to go from -1dB to -2dB, and then I created a new automation area at bar 5, the value at bar 5 would be of -2dB.

In Next, when creating an automation track, the app seems to save the current value of the parameter, and applicates this value to all new automation area in the automation track. So for example, if I create an automation track for a knob that is currently at -18dB, each new automation area will be set at -18dB, even if at a certain point my value is now up to, say, -2dB.

I find this very counter intuitive, as most of the time my automations are set to make smooth transitions, from a current state to a new one, and not to go back to the default value, especially when this "default value" is not wanted anymore. Also, this breaks the workflow as quite often I find myself going back in the timeline to find the latest automation area, just to find what was the latest value I gave to this parameter.

Therefor think it would be useful to go back to the flash mechanic.

(not sure if this is a bug report or a feature request : it feels like a bug to me, but, like maybe it's intentional, then it's a feature request)

I'm using so many automations, I'm always going back to see what was the last value I used, I guess in my workflow it's really just a pain
