I copied and pasted the melody from my lead synth onto a pad patch. I was re-arranging the notes so I could find what key I was in, what notes to construct chords with, etc. I decided to go back and check on an idea I had earlier but has since deleted. To do this all I did was hit the back arrow labeled "undo". When I tried to go back to what I had it wouldn't let me. "Project History" was half gone and I had lost most of my progress. I tried to go back and forth even more and it ended up deleting my entire history altogether. This was two/two and a half hours into the project and I've lost everything except for the bare skeleton of a melody and drums I made when I first opened to project. Please help me restore my project or check the bug so it doesn't happen in the future, this was a pretty big blow. Thank you for your time.

check bookmarks, if you never saved anything then take this as an opportunity to make your track the best it could be.
Sorry to hear that. History implementation in Studio has always been sketchy. It's easy to corrupt it with certain sequences of actions. Watch out for soloing/unsoloing of cables, for example. Here's an old bug report (still open) about this: https://www.audiotool.com/board/bug_reports/exclude_cue_audio_source. If you follow the steps, you'll see how a history corruption leads to the loss of the entire history.
