YO!!!!
I am locked out from commenting on my old account so I had to make a new one just to type up this bug report. I am a fairly long time user of Audiotool (almost 4 years) and I've been offline for a few months now. I just recently tried to log back in and upload a sample, but I was met with a message telling me to activate my account. I'm thinking "okay, this is probably some new thing they're doing now. ait cool I'll go do that."
I go to the thing that says "click here to send activation email" and click that, but no email appears in my inbox. I click resend a few times: nothing. I verify that I'm using the right email. I am. The email of whom's inbox I'm checking is the same one that is entered in my account info on the Audiotool website. I try the link again to resend the email: nothing. I try it on both regular and incognito versions of chrome (I'm on a chromebook so I have no other browser options). Still nothing.
Now here's the kicker.. I go to the bug report section of the website thinking maybe someone else is having the same problem, right? I see some entries related to the account activation and what not, but nothing specifically about not receiving an email. So I go to add a new topic and.. oh... wait a minute..... where's the....... ... .. ... isn't it supposed to be ri...... (yeah I know I'm being a little extra theatrical rn, but I'm havin fun so deal bih). ... .. ... where is it!?!?
Only after reading the admin entry on how to report a bug do I realise, I need to ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT... to report the bug that WONT LET ME ACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT!!! (this isn't mad yelling, I'm just getting worked up for the sake of story telling) So not only can I not inform anybody of this biz that's going down, but if this sort of thing is happening to anyone else, they are gonna run into the same problem! That's why I'm making this entry so crazy long and detailed; if this is a bug that a lot of people are experiencing, yall would have no way of knowing, and if it is, it should totally be taken seriously.
I actually found a thread from a year ago that detailed the exact problem that I was having. The person that wrote that entry had to write down quotes from others who were having the same problem! I don't have many friends atm so I can't provide that, but I will link the entry below. From reading the comments of that entry, it doesn't seem like the post was taken very seriously.

Hopefully there is some sort of resolve that I am just unaware of, but either way please help!

The first time I tried to send the email would have been about a week ago
I'm located in America
my wifi is not the best, but that shouldn't be a problem I would think

Yeah, fair enough.
I tried to activate my account after not using it for a few months. When I clicked the "send activation email" button, nothing was sent to my email. I've tried this in regular and incognito mode, both to no avail. I've also tried it on a different computer, using a different browser. still nothing.
