Not the first time, I already lost a track this way, but now for a 2nd time, I think it is worth describing what happens.
2 days I worked on a draft experimenting with sounds n stuff and then left the draft for later.
When I left it the chart looked like this:
https://prnt.sc/im2k5p
Today I came back to it done most of the work added a lot of things, made it longer, effects n stuff and went for publishing it as well cleaned the mess on the chart.
And this is what I get when trying to publish it.
http://prntscr.com/im2mwk
And now when I reload the draft, it opens up the same previous work I had done on it, but everything I did on it today is not saved and is lost. All those core effects, sounds everything has gone and no way I will try to repeat everything again for 4 hours working on it.
What can I say, sad that I did not record the audio with Audacity or smth, I really liked the track and at least I would have it.
Here is the link to the draft, but of course it is not opening complete work that was done:

Anyway who cares I guess.
P.S the error occurred when I tried to republish the track because when I published for the first time I noticed that it is not something that I had done when I listened to mixdown and as well in cover art, it displayed this chart - https://prnt.sc/im2k5p although I knew that before publishing I cleaned it up so tools are not all over the place. Then tried to republish, and got the bug report, and basically after that, I gave up because after reloading the draft it brought me back to incompleted draft without all the work I did today, so after all that I just deleted the published messed up version.
I guess there is no way to recover the fully completed version of it since apparently autosave feature was sleeping today.

Seems I have found what is going on.
I did a little experiment and it showed me smth.
I started two projects.
project nr1: was never saved ( ignored saving it ) and just worked on it. Came to it, added something, closed, came back, every previous change - all good all there.
No problem with publishing the track just right.
project nr2: Did not save it right away, but somewhere halfway through the track. And there it goes, after I save it, I again add something, change something - publishing it, but it publishes music without changes that have been done after the project was saved.
In other words that is the case with the track mentioned above.
I worked on it for 2 days without saving it ( unsaved project )
Today before I decided to work more on it and publish it I decided to save it ( give it a name, description, tags )
Then I worked on it for couple hours and once I published it, it actually published not the complete version after everything was done, but it published it at the state where it was saved today so all afterward changes after the manual saving did not autosave.
Screw my English, I hope I bring the picture of what I am trying to describe.
Published a track without touching this button:
http://prntscr.com/im528c
Autosave works fine, publishing works fine.
If I would touch this button somewhere and add something afterward, 3rd track would be in recycle bin after publishing as it would publish the track at the place where it was saved and everything else after it would not autosave before publishing it.
Sorry for that. And thanks for providing all the details. This might be related to the most recent update we did about 10 hours ago. I just rolled it back. Can you still reproduce the issue?
I am not at the PC niw sorry. I will be later and update wasup.
And I don't think it is that recent ( 10 h ), because earlier this week the same happened.
@mbelow ok, this is exactly how I lost 2 tracks!
And is exactly what happened with the last one, I worked on it for 2 days, and then when I decided to work on it again but before that I saved it, and after I saved it I did most of the work, core effects, sounds etc. So it felt really bad publishing it and just losing everything.
The video shows what happens.
If you do not Save the project while you make it, everything is okay! But if you press that Save button, better do not hustle and hard work on it afterward's because all your hard work will be gone once you publish or close the app.
I hope it helps you figure out what is going on, as I don't have any idea.

That being said - yes I can still reproduce it.
Wow. Thanks a lot for the video. Looking into this right now...
@mbelow ok, hope that helps.
Maybe you should ask someone else to reproduce it so you make sure is it a global bug or just me the lucky one, lol.
And if there is any chance whatsoever recovering the last track - https://next.audiotool.com/#/y3f28ytgxn7 ( completed version )
will be appreciated, if not let's just move on, Lesson learned as they say!
Cheers and have a great weekend.
I was able to reproduce. It is not even related to publishing. After an unsaved track is saved, further changes made to the track are not stored. However, when the track is re-opened after the initial save, all is working fine.

Yes, can confirm.
But still though, I think it is a bug, and someone can become unhappy by not knowing this.
This is a bug of course. I'm about to fix this...
The fix is online. I'm sorry, but the lost changes you did to your track cannot be recovered. This is because of the nature of the bug - the changes were simply not send to the servers. Sorry for that, and thank you for the help.
@mbelow thanks and all good. Seems I was the first one running into this. May have saved for fellows some nerves for later :D
Take care.
