I just stopped using this getting lost in small details. know how I want my song to sound like and I understand rhythm and standard musical terms but would like some help with smaller issues.
I tried making a song that is a quicker song but I couldn't figure out how to make the notes fast enough without changing the bpm to 920 (yup) which screwed over other systems like the drums.
I have made something and if it helps I can try to link it to you if you ask for it.
I have school so I won't be on often.

Regarding the note lengths: You can change the snapping on the left side of the timeline view. There is a menu that displays "Smart" or a fraction such as 1/4. You can change it to smaller values to create shorter notes, or zoom in while in "Smart" mode.
