So, I've been working on my first (hopefully) dubstep track. TRACK AT THE BOTTOM.

  1. Can you guys confirm this is dubstep. If it is, yay! If it isn't... Well.. Darn.

  2. I REALLY need help with the ending section. I'm not sure I like it; I can't get it right. I think. Anyway, suggestions would be highly appriciated.

  3. Any suggestions about the track in general. Be prepared for some questions for me, though, as this is my first dubstep track and I'm making this off of knowledge for 3 YouTube videos and a couple of tips in some comments on my track.

Technically it probably comes under the label of Brostep, but this would be commonly referred to as dubstep.

I would suggest watching this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZCfn8P2kBXM

as for the ending, well, you need an outro, intro and a break to make this a full track (stereotypically) I would listen to a load of the dubstep/brostep you like and listen to how the track flows. Not just the sounds or whatever, but how it starts, builds, drops, breaks and ends.

Relevant to arranging.

Add different sections to it. (intro, drops, breakdowns, etc)
Make a chord progression and use to bring your sounds together. I recommend you look up beginner tutorials on music theory.

If you really don't have idea for ending - simple loop last part and fade out it.
