Post your requested genre and I'll write up a post explaining how to make it!

Yup. Post a genre that you want to try and learn, and I'll post a thread on how to make it. I might even do some video tutorials in the future.

A genre that I know a bit about, but want to learn more of, is dubstep. If you do post a thread, please post the link here so I can see it. Thanks!

Really trying to figure out how to be able to make a more unique sounds for some heavy electro type of stuff. Something along the lines (sound wise) of Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix, Like Mike - Tremor or Martin Garrix - Animals. Something that has variety in the sound, high tone sounds and lower, heavier, sounds for drops and whatnot.

Just can't figure out how to quite get there.

Generally, if you want to make a certain style, the worst thing I say you should try to do is force it, right? I mean the best thing is probably just to listen to professional/well known songs of that genre or artists who are prominent in that genre and find one you like. That way, you can get an idea of what you're shooting for.
