Right click the master output main knob, select create automation track, go on the timeline, edit the value in the automation track to go from original power to minimum.
Since this is a recurring question: would it make sense to make a manual for the master output mentioning the "fade in/out" application? Not that anyone would read it, but it would be easier to reference in the threads.

The simplest way is to automate the "Output Level" control of the Master Output device.
