OTT is the shittiest thing you could've said in regards on how to make dubstep. A professional only needs 1-3 OTTs. Needing a lot more than that would require advanced knowledge as to why the fuck you're doing that

Look at tutorials on how to make growls, saws, subs, melodies, leads, drum patterns.
Look up how to process sounds, and what process even means.

You have the world's information at your finger tips, use it to your advantage. You reaching out to this community is a good first step.

Like Minimal power said down there, listening to dubstep will help. Reverse engineer the sounds you hear in mainstream dubstep to the best of your abilities.

There is no specific way to make dubstep. Making the genre requires you to start experimenting right now.

no. maybe for neurobasses if you really need to dispersor sound, but you really do not need many multiband compressors

2023-11-13 16:05 · 2023-11-13

it really depends on the genre, and like client said, its a lot of fuccin around and finding out, for tearout, its basically processed plucks, growls are usually filter modulations and distortion, but since theres so many different styles of dubstep, you need to really have an idea of what you want

ok you don't really need that many, but you do need some to get a thick sound. Also, eq disperser can be better depending on the situation

as said by client, 1-3 is all that is needed, if you want a beefier sound try saturation instead
