"There is just something about the simplicity and beauty of this track that reminds me of when I first started making music. It's like, the kind of music... I -wanted- to make. I love how the synths just intertwine throughout the track. :)"
"This is my favorite track of mine because it's short, it's simple, and I can bump it with my friends when we're hanging out. It sounds pretty nice on my speakers and It's probably one of the few trap songs I've made that I can stand listening to. I've made better tracks but this is my favorite."
"I'm usually not proud of my own tracks. But this one I like because I'm proud of the simple , yet catchy melody I made. I listen this track often, actually. When I make music, I like to try and make music that I would enjoy listening to. I definitely accomplished that here. :)"
" I consider this track to be my best one because it turned out as really wanted and expected. I'm usually not so sure when I publish a track but this time it was different."
"Like most of mine, I wrote this too quickly, and could have spent some more time learning to EQ properly...but I've been returning to this one lately since it's a bit more upbeat than my often melancholy turns. I thought about posting one of my older ones like "dapper" or "a lume spento", and had it down to this one (bactor) and "einsam". I wrote "einsam" sitting in an airport and wishing I was home. I wrote bactor just after something pretty excellent happened...so it's probably a more fitting choice for edition Audiotool. Thanks, guys!"
"This was my unknown entry to Lewi's "hybrid heaven" remix competition. I was extremely late on it so it didn't get much notice. However, despite the fact that it is a remix, the only thing that didn't create on this track was the synth in the first 27 seconds of the song. Everything else was all me, NO SAMPLES. I think it's definitely my busiest song that's released, but there's many more to come."
"I had a hard time deciding if I would pick a Drum & Bass track or another genre. I always make music that I like. And to be honest I like most of my tracks (even the noob-ones). Most of them have a special meaning to me and were created to describe a certain feeling/emotional state I was in at that time. Funnily enough, this track wasn't dictated by any feeling. I just wanted to create an industrial feeling track. I think the intro makes that clear :) I like this track mainly because of this intro (spend a lot of time on that). I also like the energy and anger released in the drop and the fact that I was able to add a little melody (not so obvious for me). In the middle of the track it chills down a little to build up to the end drop with a bit of drum madness at the end. Hope u guys enjoy it as well."
"I have a soft spot for this track. It's so old now and it's not good by any modern audiotool standard. But this track was the first track of mine to get featured and is responsible for why I continued producing to this day."
"I find it amazing how I usually tend to structure my tracks with music theory, yet this track of mine came out with little to no knowledge of that. I did my best to give it a feeling of ascension and the theory I did end up using in it only helped me figure out where to go, not where to start, the complex chord progression you hear at the beginning of the track is basically what I started with initially. I ended up diverging from there, adding melodies with solely chord tones I didn't even know I was capable of. As a result, to date, I believe this is my best track and my favourite. I would have never thought I would be able to make music like this a year ago. I can't wait to see what I come up with in the future."

"The name's a bit of a mouthful, but I love the way that this one turned out. Jambam's chords in the second half top everything off, so he gets props for this as well".
"At the moment, I am often listening to "Strahlen".
It's a perfect example of what I am doing now. I am using my guitar in different ways, layer them up to 5 guitars and do special rythms (11/4) in this case.
Then all is increasing, more guitars fade in, until it ends up in chaos.
This is allways an inspiration for my upcoming tracks."
"I've been doing a lot of 4 on the floor lately, felt like switching things up a bit. I'm really happy with the marriage of the kick drum and bass in this track, wish there was a little more action in the air-bands though..."
"This is not the best track of mine, but it's message seems very important to me! Currently very bad and inhuman things are going on in Germany and Europe… Again hostility toward strangers can be seen and I really don’t want to support this – because: we are one!!!"
"Picking a favorite was pretty hard, but in the end it led up to this one. This track was honestly my best so far. This track had my best sound design to date (not the samples). I was pretty proud with how this came out. The chord progression, the pads, the screech, and even the little background plucks that play the chord progression. This one was pretty fun for me to make. I hope to one day do something similar to this one!"
"It’s probably the most expected answer, but I’ll be honest it is the only track that I wouldn’t go back and change. A track where the word “work” seems out of place, making it was an incredibly relaxing experience. It was late at night and I was tired, my mind just went with the flow instead of me trying to force the draft to sound like a predetermined idea and in the end I just ended up with something I really enjoyed. ‘Lost’ also turned out to become a ticket to a festival and meeting some of my Audiotool friends in person and resulted in a once in a lifetime unforgettable experience."
"One of my personal favorites for some reasons. First it gives a pretty good idea of me : I'm kind of a geek (track based on a videogame riff) I love it dark, with a Rock/Trip Hop style etc... And it is one of the few tracks I didn't republish afterward. I made it in one take as it was flowing and I like it as it is: very rare :). "
"I started this draft, invited CGMan, we changed some stuff, it was all nice but not great, and then CGMan gave it a proper mixing and compressing session and wow, that made the entire tune. Love the flow in this, love how you can't tell how the basses were made just by listening, love the fx. Got some love from Funtcase and a couple of record labels too."
"I have chosen this one cause I still like to listen to it. Although I have used plenty of samples in this one I am not at all ashamed of the end product.
"This song is the definitive of summer 2015. This brings memories back
from this amazing time. I hope to release a 2016 summer album this year which will go beyond boundaries. This album will be called Kelxos. The art of dwelling on the past!"
"I was pretty proud of the outcome of this track, also thanks to Mourn it was fleshed out. I think it kind of puts me into a nice step into the type of DnB I want to create. "
"Even though it's fairly new considering, this is my favorite of mine. It was made pretty shortly after a breakup, hence the name, but sentiment aside it's the first track I've made that I think really sounds like a 'live' organic track."
"Ugh, me. So, like many people, I am not a fan of my own works. The things I am proudest of are generally things that are technically tricky. (Experiments in randomness for example.) However, usually my latest is my greatest, at the moment that would be Babylon Shall Fall ."
"This song has just really been my proudest just because of the work I put into it. I loved the melody and progression from the very start. And I'm very proud of those growls."
"The original draft I had for this was a stupid-happy, dead-end, 4 chord turd of a track until I was experimenting with reverb and a percussion technique (overhead drum sounds). I created that pad and all the sudden, I knew I had to delete everything and go with the vision I saw in it. This track cultivated the exact emotion I wanted to convey and I don’t get tired of it."

"Digging up an old one here. This is a special one to me because I worked on it with my mate who showed me Audiotool. It’s rather slow progressing. I like the spacey sound, the piano like chords and the drum beat on this one."
"This is a track I'm proud of for working with multiple 303 patterns in a fun way. I spent hours lining up those patterns to the point where it became a labor of love. I love the 303's timeless sound."
