1. Across the Pond by @Olaf II

This was on of the first tracks I listened to on Audiotool. It’s a haunting soundscape that clearly demonstrated to me the enormous potential of Audiotool as a music making environment. Although Olaf is no longer making music on Audiotool, he has left a great legacy that will continue to inspire others.

2. Helpless by @andremoda

For me great tracks are those where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Tracks that take you to some other place. Like ‘Trip 17’ by rnzr, this is one of those tracks.

3. Cosmic Highway by @Won Ton

Pure chill of the highest quality. As it says on the track description, “Be happy”

4. Isolation by @MCT

Clever of use the Rasselbock by MCT to manipulate two samples and achieve this amazing result. Open it up and see.

5. Rainclouds by @Anthony Bartone

Dub and chill all in one. Such and enormous bass on this track! Love the vocal part too!

6. Empyreal bound by @808Chunk

The master of electro. No one does it like Chunk!

7. Die form by @ascona400

Great dark wave track but the question is who is Ascona 400?

8. Suede red by @Mr. Standfast

Like many of the great artists i like on Audiotool, Mr Standfast, has carved out his own distinct style. This track would have sat comfortably on Aphex Twin’s Selected Ambient Works -Vol 1.

9. Electronic soul by @fauko

This popped up on the site when I was on my way back from Audiotool.Con last October. Listened to it again and again and again on the journey home. Its synth-pop perfection in my opinion. My only criticism would be that it’s not long enough!

10. Find a place right here by @Sandcripten

Miami vice style synth-pop from two of the Audiotool greats (sandburgen and cripta). its doesn’t get much better than this in my book!
