Ewan McCulloch aka Audial, our artist of the week, has chosen these tracks as his most inspirational ones on audiotool.
"19" by Kepz: a master piece of ambience.
"Blurred" by Kepz: the perfect mix between atmosphere and dance.
"I’ve missed you, too" by Jace: beautiful melodic vibes, makes me reminisce.
"Quarantine" by Aaron: what a track… the first track on AT I really loved. Get lost in it.
"wait" by amoeba: a perfect archetype for the deep future garage amoeba is famous for.
"Off to Tokyo" by PLUS: the beat is infectious, a brilliant dance track.
"./dream" by Zone: another melodic beauty, zone is a genius with vocals.
"The Tower (unplugged)" by Sandburgen: The texture is so full, the tonality is so interesting. I really love it, it’s kind of mysterious…
"Pimpampero" by Cripta: I love the ridiculous vocals and the bass line is superb, before AT I was never into any techno.
"EW THAT KICK DRUM" by Inavon: just wow, this track is fantastic for so many reasons. The technique used in this was a must have for my production technique arsenal.
recommended underrated artist:
@Cuds
He’s got a way with sound design that no one else can seem to match, the utopia of complex rhythmical interplay between cleverly designed synths is an auditory adventure. Not to mention the percussion which is always expertly crafted, with his glitch-hop percussion rivalling Mr. Bill's. I only wish he’d finish his tracks. some recommended tracks are
Death of Vega [WIP]
A Hint of Lemon Zest
and
Komodo
finish these right away!). Despite being underrated, 'A Dragon Named Cuddlex' has definitely won the respect of many audiotoolers and with a bit more love will hopefully finish these brilliant tracks like we are begging him to.
