Let's say that I publish a song. If I hit remix to it, made some modification and publish it again means that I re-publish that song? And if the answer is yes, I can re-publish a song that I made long time ago (like 2-3 months ago?)?

basically what they are saying is open the track again, make your changes, and then publish it the same way.

Go to the track page. Open the draft.
When you publish this, it republishes (and overwrites) the original.

That's a remix/VIP (variance in production).
If you open the song's draft, modify it, and publish that is a republish. Both are fine, bit they are different.
